The DDaT director will also undertake reviews of the council’s existing supplier line-up and its IT infrastructure. The end goal of which should be “establishing strategic partnerships and working relationships… [and] rationalising and maximising technology investments”.

The council also wishes to adopt “digital-first [and] cloud-first strategies”.

Applications for the role are open until 15 November.
