Legal Aid Agency seeks head of digital

MoJ-sponsored entity looks to appoint leader to spearhead transformation

The Legal Aid Agency is seeking to appoint a senior manager to “lead digital transformation” across the organisation.

The LAA – an executive agency of the Ministry of Justice – is looking to recruit a head of digital.

The role comes with a remit to “apply the culture, processes and technologies of the digital era to meet the public’s expectations”. This will involve spearheading transformation activities, as well as supporting the operation of existing technology and services.

The successful applicant will be expected to serve as the agency’s “face of digital”, in addition to securing “buy-in… [for] digital strategy at a senior level within the LAA and MoJ”.

The postholder will have responsibility for leading 88 staff and managing an annual budget of about £10m.

The position comes with a yearly salary of between £60,772 and £81,967. Applications are open until 20 October.
