Agency engages with market for potential partners that can take names and addresses and derive additional information
HM Land Registry is to explore the potential of “data enrichment”.
The organisation has kicked off an early-engagement exercise and wants to hear from potential suppliers that could provide “information about individuals and organisations”. HM Land Registry wishes to take its own data – which covers the names and addresses of people and organisations – and find partners that could supplement this information.

The non-ministerial department is looking for suppliers that could take data and use it to “uniquely identify each person and organisation”, before enriching data sets by providing “additional attributes [such as] date of birth or date of incorporation”. Potential partners must also be able to offer “security features appropriate to holding personal sensitive data”.
Interested parties should get in touch with HM Land Registry and provide details of what information they could potentially provide.
The government agency, which reports into the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, is responsible for registering details of property and land ownership across England and Wales.
