The Welsh government is looking for a supplier to provide digital transformation services, web development and systems integration as part of its nation-wide digital services framework.
According to a prior information notice on the Welsh government’s national procurement service website, the budget for the work is £180m.
It is for the provision of digital and ICT services to Welsh public sector bodies, under the title of an “all-Wales digital services framework”.

The notice described it as a “wide ranging requirement covering a broad scope of services”.
This will include digital transformation services, web development, agile working, cloud migration and support, application development and support, systems integration and system architecture.
IT consultancy, web hosting and data centre hosting are out of scope of the agreement, the notice stated.
“Services will be delivered on a project basis, with suppliers role in the project varying from a discrete specialised element to undertaking large complex projects in the entirety,” the notice said.
Those suppliers that wish to participate in the pre-tender market engagement process are asked to register you interest against the prior information notice.
The Welsh government was recently advised to “be brave” when it came to digital, with Atos saying in its Digital Vision for Wales report that it the government should lead by example when it came to digital innovation.
The report said that the Welsh government must “lead by example” by designing coherent strategies on digital services, establishing shared service models, adopting ‘cloud-first’ policies and incentivising the development of digital skills.
