The government is to switch off the digital services store – used by public sector organisations to buy products and services – on 5 July 2016.
The Government Digital Service announced in April that the second iteration of the framework – Digital Services 2 – had been replaced by Digital Outcomes and Specialists.

Refresh of Digital Services framework delayed
At the time it said that Digital Services 2 could be closed as late as 5 November.
However, it did say that it expected switch off would be earlier, but that it would advise stakeholders of this a month before the new date for turning the service off.
The redesigned framework has a different buying process from its predecessor, with information for buyers on how to buy and how suppliers will be evaluated.
There are more than 1000 suppliers listed on the framework, which also provides them with specialists, such as developers, business analysts and technical architects, to work on the services
The Crown Commercial Service managed service team will help those who have already started the buying process for Digital Services 2 services to finish the procurement.
