New iteration of agreement due to go live four days after outgoing deal expires

Bidding is now open for a place on the Digital Outcomes and Specialists 4 framework.
The agreement replicates the four-lot structure of the incumbent deal, with the first two sections dedicated to suppliers that can deliver digital outcomes and specialists, respectively. The digital outcomes lot covers project-based work on the research, design, testing, development, delivery or ongoing support of digital services, while the second lot addresses short-term requirements for individuals or small groups of workers in various tech, digital, and data disciplines.
The third lot of the framework is for firms that can supply studio space for end-user research, while the fourth is for those that can offer user-research participants.
The fourth iteration of DOS comes with an estimated worth of £1.57bn – a rise of more than a quarter on the £1.2bn value attached to its predecessor.
Suppliers wishing to bid for a spot on one or more lots have until 5pm on 15 August to make their submissions.
Successful bidders are due to be notified on 19 September, ahead of a scheduled start date of Tuesday 1 October. The outgoing framework is due to expire on the Friday beforehand.
The new contract will run for an initial term of 12 months, with an optional one-year extension.
