Contract will cover a comprehensive range of products and consultancy

Almost 50 NHS organisations across London and the south-east are seeking bids for a spot on a £3bn framework covering the supply of a comprehensive range of technology and services.
The NHS London Procurement Partnership (LPP) has published a contract notice alerting suppliers to the launch of the four-year deal, which is split into four main lots, each of which is divided into various sub-lots and ‘baskets’.
The first main lot covers consultancy, and is split into three tracks, covering strategy, services, and transformation consultants.
The second lot covers network infrastructure. This section is split into six sub-lots: data access; local connectivity; telephony; mobile voice and data; conferencing; and network infrastructure management.
IT hardware is the focus of the third lot, which is divided into two sub-sections – one for products, and one for asset management.

The final lot is dedicated to software. This portion of the framework features nine sub-lots, within which are a total of 16 baskets, each covering a discrete product area.
The first two sub-lots cover general IT software and finance software, respectively.
The third sub-lot, which addresses procurement software, is further split into seven individual categories: sourcing; contract management; supplier management; content management; spend analysis; procure-to-pay software; and a final basket for suppliers providing multiple product offerings.
The fourth and fifth sub lots are, respectively, for project management software and informatics and reporting software.
The sixth, which addresses CRM, portals, and internal websites and intranets, is split into five baskets, the first three of which are for CRM systems or portals related to health, community organisations, and customer services. Websites and intranets are the subject of the fourth and fifth baskets.
The seventh sub-lot address innovation, and covers four specified areas: robotic process automation; chatbots; artificial intelligence; and blockchain.
The final two sub-lots of the fourth lot address advance pay solutions and software asset management, respectively.
The total value of the framework over its four-year lifespan is estimated at £3bn. Bids are open until 17 July, and suppliers are entitled to bid for multiple lots and sub-lots.
The London Procurement Partnership is a collective of 31 trusts and 15 clinical commissioning groups across London and the wider south-east. The partnership already runs eight frameworks covering the supply a range of technology products and professional and back-office services.
Although the partnership operates independently of its member-owners, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in south London is its designated host trust.
