The Government Digital Service is offering a salary of more than £70,000 for a head of EU exit digital delivery and strategy.

The central digital agency established a dedicated Brexit team early last year, staffing the unit with a mixture of existing workers and new recruits. The importance of its Brexit work was signalled by the decision to move incumbent GDS chief operating officer Alison Pritchard – who had only joined the organisation a few months previously – to a role heading up the new EU exit function.
