A list of the top 100 players leading Scotland’s digital transformation has been launched today.
Over the next 20 weeks, PublicTechnology’s sister title, Connect, will provide interviews with those who feature in its annual Tech 100, which is being produced in association with supplier Gamma.
A new name will be revealed each day as Connect offers an insight into what they are working on and the challenges they are facing.
First up is Steve Watt, chief information officer at the University of St Andrews, who discusses the transformation the institution has undergone and the constant cyber security threat.
The Tech 100 list is not comprehensive and strictly not scientific, but instead a snapshot of people in each sector.
It also gives an insight into the strategically important role of technology in learning, public service delivery and growing the Scottish economy.
