Kent County Council has won a contract to provide an eBulk solution to another county council – view this and all this week’s local authority tenders.

Value: Between £5,000 and £200,000 depending on the number of authorities that decide to use the agreement.
Description: The council requires the provision of an annual IT Health Check to validate equipment not provided as part of a PSN service that interacts with PSN services. Provision of written report detailing vulnerabilities, aggregated into findings to be presented as evidence for Cabinet Office Information Assurance Assessors Allocation of risk-based score and solution to each vulnerability found, presented in an application-type platform. The contract will be for a term of 2 years with an option to extend for a further two 12 month periods

Council: Telford & Wrekin Council
Value: £10,000 – £25,000
Description: The council is inviting IT suppliers of personal assistants registers to demonstrate their solutions in the first instance to help develop service specifications and implementation

Norwich: Software package and information systems
Council: Norfolk County Council
Description: Further Education Management Information System (MIS). Norfolk County Council has a requirement to review the market for its current MIS provision for adult education.

Leicester: IT services: consulting, software development, internet and support
Council: Leicester City Council
Value: £400,000
Description: The council is inviting tenders for the provision of ICT services and support to issue fixed penalty notices to utilities under the powers available to the council under the new Roads and Street Works Act and for the Council to collect the income.

Aberdeen: Internet services
Council: Aberdeen City Council
Description: A contract to deploy and operate a managed wi-fi Service across the council’s property portfolio. This service will offer visitors access to a world class W-Fi facility in all public accessible spaces.

Leicester: Database-management system
Council: Leicestershire County Council
Description: A property asset management system to replace the current system due to the expiry of existing hardware and software support. The system will be an integrated solution providing property data, asset management, project management, supplier information, asset valuations and energy information.

Description: An electronic document and records management system to deliver records management practices across the council. The project is to be delivered by the end of the financial year 2014/15 within a budget to be finalised.

Kilmarnock: Information technology services
Council: East Ayrshire Council
Description: a contract for a roads maintenance management system to rationalise the two systems currently in operation within the council’s roads divisions.
Value: £53,000

Morden: Software development services
Council: London Borough of Merton
Description: Data and document labelling.
Awarded to: Apperception Limited

Matlock: IT services: consulting, software development, Internet and support
Council: Derbyshire County Council
Description: Supply of an externally hosted eBulk solution and associated support services.
Value: Between £123,985 and £284,485
Awarded to: Kent County Council
