Bristol: Wireless telecommunications system
Council: Bristol City Council
Description: Bristol City Council, as lead authority, is seeking to procure wireless concession(s) on behalf of neighbouring authorities within the West of England. Four lots have been identified in order to achieve region-wide wireless.

Optimising Business Broadband Support Programme
Council: Shropshire Council
Value: between £125,000 and £150,000 
Description: The contract consists of the provision of dedicated business support on broadband and IT issues directly affecting SME’s across Shropshire and Staffordshire for an ERDF funded project. The contract will last for a period of up to 15 months from April 2014.

Boroughbridge: Wide area network
Council: NYnet (Yorkshire County Council)
Value: £125,000
Description: NYnet requires a Supplier to assist in the support of its new Wide Area Network (WAN) to the public sector within North Yorkshire and York. A high capacity WAN is being built consisting of a core network of circa 50 nodes to provide Internet network connectivity and access to applications for around 750 NYnet Customer sites.

Description: The council will be tendering for a new customer relationship management system during 2014. In advance, it is undertaking a soft market testing process during January 2014 to assess potential supplier ability to meet its requirements.

Value: Description: Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire county councils and Norwich City Council, run a shared services venture, LGSS. LGSS is looking to procure a framework contract for the provision of an ERP solution that will be available to offer to new customers joining LGSS as well as being available for existing customers or partners. This is a prior information notice.
