Central government's ICT projects have been a mixed bag of successes, bloated big-ticket programmes, and cancelled failures. The last 12 months have already seen the publication of the Digital Britain report, and more recently the launch of the Government CIO's strategy for ICT, which includes the online-based Government Cloud initiative.
