The Home Office has signed a near-£5m deal to help facilitate a move to cloud platforms.
The department wishes to make use of “cloud landing zones” to help it move services to Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure environments. Digital transformation specialist Methods has been tasked with delivering “cloud migration services”.
The firm has been awarded a £4.8m deal that came into effect on 22 March and lasts for two years, newly published procurement information reveals.
Founded in 1990 and based in London, Methods’ website says the company’s aim is to “modernise our UK public services”.
“Our mission is to safeguard public-facing services for the future by ensuring that they are citizen-centred, informed by data, and powered in the cloud,” it added.
