Department for Work and Pensions seeks to recruit personnel for its digital group over next fortnight, including four lead technical architects for solutions and a range of grade 7 posts
The Department for Work and Pensions has published a series of job adverts for technologists with closing dates over the next two weeks on Civil Service Jobs.
The department is recruiting four lead technical architects for solutions who have experience in application design and are “confident working on products and services in a complex digital environment”. The work includes designing, overseeing, and architecture governance of IT solutions, with candidates assessed for leadership, teamwork, communication, and influencing skills, as well as a range of technical skills. The grade 6 roles pay £72,664 to £99,836 with applications closing on Sunday 14 September.
The department is also recruiting for a range of jobs at Grade 7, with most positions offering a salary of £55,557 to £66,058. These include a senior digital engagement manager, a senior product manager for the Microsoft 365 platform and a senior IT service manager for digital payment services, with applications for all of these closing on Sunday 7 September.
It is also looking for four senior digital portfolio managers, two senior digital project managers (paying £57,946 to £68,205), a senior performance test engineer (£57,946 to £71,017) and a cyber security monitoring and investigations lead (£55,557 to £71,675), with applications closing on or after Sunday 14 September.
Most roles can be based in DWP corporate hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, or Sheffield.
As previously reported, the department is also recruiting a chief operating officer for its digital and transformation unit, paying up to £140,000, with applications closing on Monday 8 September.
