Project management efficiency raised by LCHS

The use of a web-based tool for project management has enabled NHS Lincolnshire’s LCHS (Lincolnshire Community Health Services) to implement increased productivity and enable cost savings.

The platform, Mosaique’s Aspyre, was first used by the LCHS at the start of the year after a trial period.

“As public sector organisations look to curb their spending and make savvy business decisions, Aspyre met our needs perfectly and has proved to be extremely cost effective,” said Joanne Wright-Larkin, innovation manager at LCHS. “It’s a practical tool which is simple and intuitive, even for those with little or no project management experience.

The platform centralises project data, enabling real-time updates to be visible across the organisation to relevant personnel, together with additional functionality that it is claimed improve meeting effectiveness.

“Throughout our time using the tool we’ve saved significant time and expense in travelling to meetings as this can now be done virtually. Meetings are much more productive and the capabilities of the tool allow us to manage a wide range of programmes and projects internally and collaboratively with external organisations.”

“We are extremely pleased that LCHS has experienced the full benefits of Aspyre and we will continue to work closely with them in monitoring its success,” Claire Cassidy, CEO of Mosaique added. “Aspyre has been used in NHS and local government organisations across the UK and we’ve had some fantastic feedback.

“With the public sector facing the most stringent restructuring of its finances in a generation, organisations need to be much more realistic with their budgets and strive to raise efficiencies. Aspyre gives these organisations the tools to do just that.”
