Maude calls for suppliers to “contribute” towards efficiency

Francis Maude, the minister for the Cabinet Office, has met with the 19 largest ICT suppliers to discuss their role in helping the government meet its efficiency targets. The suppliers, which include IBM, CapGemini, Microsoft, and Vodafone, were asked what they could do to “help cut the cost of the services they provide to government”.
