It was heartening to see this week in Brighton that one of the most in-demand seminar sessions was the one based around the G-Cloud and Cloud Computing. With next week's spending review only days away now, the cost-cutting potential of the Cloud model needs to be a priority agenda item on the to do list of any public sector CIO.
Last year, our sister site BusinessCloud9 said that 2009 was the Year of the Cloud. They were wrong. In reality it was a year of the private sector Cloud.
