Leicestershire Constabulary is a UK based Police Force serving the communities of Leicestershire and Rutland. Applicants must have current UK emergency service network support and maintenance experience.

Total quantity or scope: The Network comprises:

47 sites all within or on the borders of Leicestershire and Rutland.

A primary rate remote access service for additional small sites, remote workers and third-party support.

Frame-relay and point to point links to local authorities and criminal justice partners.

Substantial legacy 3com equipment and RAD kilomux equipment.

Current Cisco switches, routers and firewalls.

3Com Transcend and Cisco Works for Windows network management.

Cisco Secure ACS and RSA ACE Server authentication services.

The required service:

24 hour, 365 day with 4 hour call to fix on all LAN and WAN equipment and directly supported services.

Bonded storage and management of Leicestershire Constabulary dedicated spares stock holding.

Fault and call management for third-party systems and services, e.g. leased line and WAN service fault handling and resolution.

Initial network fault finding for third-party systems and services.

Network help desk and support service.

Network performance and health check service.

Network design and consultancy.

Duration of the contract or time limit for completion: Starting: 1.4.2005 - Ending: 31.3.2010.

Conditions for obtaining contract document and additional documents: Obtainable until: 19.7.2004.
