Manchester event created by the Northwest Strategic Health Authority and Hays.
In the first event of its kind in Manchester, senior NHS IT professionals from across the Northwest will meet to discuss and debate the main obstacles facing IT advancements within the NHS. The Northwest Strategic Health Authority, in partnership with recruitment specialists Hays, is hosting the event which will be held the Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester in December 2009.
Speakers include Paul Charnley, Strategy Consultant at the Northwest Strategic Health Authority, and John Willshere, Informatics Capability Development Director at Connecting for Health. Senior IT managers from across the North West will be in attendance to discuss the development of IT systems. The event will also aim to address real-world IT planning problems and solutions that may offer significant benefits to organisations.
Joel Armitt, Director at Hays Information Technology commented: It is great that we can provide a platform for the NHS to come together to discuss how their organisations can benefit from IT developments, which is a key issue in the current climate. We will also be able to provide insight into the local jobs market.
