Christopher Histed
Founder of Public Technology is Christopher Histed, who has 20 years experience launching, growing and running media businesses. He was Chief Operating Officer of Parliamentary Communications Ltd [publisher of www.ePolitix.com, www.euPolitix.com and the House magazine, the weekly magazine of the Houses of Lords and Commons] prior to PCL's sale to Huveaux plc. He was director of product strategy & UK General Manager, Silicon.com & part of the team which sold Silicon Media Group to NASDAQ-listed CNET Networks Inc.
Prior to that in 2000 he was Vice President in charge at FT.com (part of Pearson plc). As General Manager, Sky Interactive Production at British Sky Broadcasting,his teams built the world's first interactive TV channels SkySports Active and SkyNews Active. In addition to his role at Public Technology Ltd, Histed is a Court member of the The Information Technologists' Company (the 100th City of London Livery Company), and is chairman of its education committee. Histed is an individual member of the Parliamentary Information Technology Committee ( PITCOM); and has recently finished a 3-year period as a Governor of Lilian Baylis Technology School, Lambeth.
Felicity Chadwick: Co-founder
Felicity Chadwick has a long history of successful sales and marketing achievement. The first decade of her career was spent in marketing successful high-tech operations in computer graphics and broadcast technology. In the past decade Chadwick has headed fundraising operations in the not-for-profit & public sectors, at the Samaritans and as a director at Citizens Advice and most recently as a director of the The Royal Free Hampstead Charitable Trust. In addition to her role at Public Technology, Chadwick is a founder trustee of London charity The Bridge for Social Communication [which assists autistic children], and is a Governor of Marjory Kinnon School in Hounslow.
