The website has now been enhanced and expanded in response to the overwhelming success of the National Gallery's ‘Take One Picture' scheme. The scheme promotes the use of art as a resource for creative teaching across the primary curriculum.
The website has been created to increase the scheme's reach - to inspire teachers nationwide and provide all the information and resources needed for getting involved in ‘Take One Picture'. The site contains easy-to-access information and provides free online resources, including teachers' notes and zoomed images for all ‘Take One Picture' paintings.
Key features of the website include:
> Online exhibitions of creative work from this year and past ‘Take One Picture' exhibitions
> Downloadable high-resolution images to use with interactive whiteboards and PCs, and teachers' notes
> Full details of individual and whole school CPD courses at the National Gallery
> Links to current DfES strategies.
