Government seeks suppliers for Technology Products 2 framework

The Crown Commercial Service says spending through the new version of its Technology Products framework could reach £4bn.

The Cabinet Office procurement unit yesterday launched a tender seeking suppliers for the second iteration of the framework.

The current framework is due to expire in November, with the replacement version set to run for four years.

A statement by CCS said: “Extensive pre-market engagement activity has taken place to ensure the design of the new agreement meets the needs of our customers across the public sector.

“This includes having the right structure for buyers and suppliers and the right mix of suppliers, products and associated services, with a flexible route to market and unrivalled value for money for buyers.”
